I think Steve said it well in pod # 299 that we’ve had talented players in the recent past but low attitude. I like the new standards Benji has set – complete on every play is obviously the new mantra.
With that in mind I reckon we are good for 12th – we’ll put Dragons, Titans, Cows behind us at least. I think the Bulldogs will go better than 15th but not by much, Manly will struggle (especially if Turbo gets injured again), and both the Warriors and Knights over performed last year so who knows where we can get to.
If we have no major injuries and either Sullivan or Latu step up - I'm expecting 7th or 8th
Anything below 12th would be a fail for me

12th which will be a solid season and a good base to work from
Last year we bungled 5x games that we should have Won,
This year we have decent Halves and if we compete hard and dont check out...
Then getting out of the bottom 4 is possible
9th to 11th for me would be a pass.
10th-13th is my prediction.

I got pretty excited about our prospects a week or so ago and found myself hearing the collective supporter cry of WE ARE ... MARSHALL!! This was quickly met with a number of dampeners from fellow Tigers fans who expressed measured concerns over Benji as a coach. Some of those detractors are hear expressing high hopes and expectations for the team in 2024. Surely some of that expected success would have to be attributed to expected success of the coach and his staff too???
It's 10-14 for me. Hope I'm wrong about this too. 😀
