so basically you have to keep items for over 20 years. Ridiculous, I can’t believe that there would be many people claiming they have been members since day one so they can get a free sausage

To be honest no one really thought it was that important back then, this was pre the big push for memberships in the NRL. I have my card from 2007 but they already have that information anyway.
The issue is this is their mistake, not mine, I shouldn't have to prove anything.

Its got me thinking. I bought my memberships ( x 4) after a significant life event which was 12 years ago. I think I'd be over 10 years as well. I hadnt thought of it, but Im dirty about it now.
My family have 3 memberships which were started in 2014 and we didn't hear anything about this dinner.
