Good luck @garry with the Sheens interview tomorrow! What a great endorsement for The Ambush

Honestly, if I was interviewing Sheens, I wouldn't know where to start there are so many questions.

Would you focus on current events or his history at the club?

Open with "How long should we wait for success before you should be sacked like Madge?"

My question to Sheens would be, what does success next year look like and what are the KPI’s for the new coach and for Sheens himself.

100% solely focus on current events

WT supporters are mostly with low morale - we are looking for answers and we are looking for some hope to grab onto.

The club has a role in providing strong leadership for our fan base and outlining how we are going to get from where we've gotten ourselves to long term success.

We have all remeniced about 05, 11 & 12 long enough - I want to hear how we are going to get back to the finals again.

Top 8 2023

A very similar question is on my list.

WestsTigers fans are definitely wanting to know what is happening as of now with the clubs current status e.g;  recruitment, coach, who are WTs young talented players we have retained and when are they in the COE etc…. All relevant for what’s happening now.

They were supposed to go into the COE when they returned from NZ but that has been put back until the 18th after the builder made a mistake with the Certificate of Occupancy application. The players had their first tour of the COE on Thursday.

What a great event we had today with Tim Sheens at Wests Ashfield. Tim spoke for about an hour and was inspiring and honest. The 70-80 Wests Tigers members and fans were treated to a most riveting interview. Don’t worry if you missed it because Tim has agreed to do another interview with Garry for the podcast.

we can all be critical at times but the support and access Wests Tigers have given us this year is amazing!

Whilst the club are very invested in development they realise we are missing ‘stars’ but also realise it is currently hard for us to attract these types of players

Absolutely need a coach in place soonish to allow for recruitment but must find the person who wants to come to our club and work within current reality

Club is absolutely set for success especially financially - which is so important. In way better shape than when Tim was previously at the club
