Love watching the Olympics - Summer and Winter. Especially love watching sports I don’t generally watch.
But…….
the ch7 coverage is doing my head in. JUST SHOW THE DAMN SPORT. So much wasted air time listening to B grade hosts trying to be cute and funny and so many interviews with family etc. Have a dedicated channel for this stuff. Get on with the actual sports!!!!!!

Which is exactly why I can’t watch it. Hosts trying to be the news rather than letting the sport do the talking.
One of the best sporting commentators was Richie Benaud (yes cricket I know, as an example). Not because of what he said but what he didn’t say. He knew when to keep quiet and let the moment happen before your eyes.

Agree Mike. Every ad break they go back to the bloody hosts. Just go straight back to the sports
@tigersteve Use 7plus, get much less of the host and can choose the sport you want to watch.

My wife has loved the 2.5 minutes ch7 have shown in between parent interviews, highlight packages, hosts trying to be cool, previews, reviews and ads
