From memory they want 10 sides in 2024 ...when do they make the call on who are the chosen 10 ??
Cant remember where I heard it but I remember a report that they dont want to fall into the same trap as the NRL in having "too many" Sydney teams and that its unlikely that future teams getting added will be Sydney teams. Inwhich case we might struggle other than to play up the "growth centre" of SW Sydney (in "" because the mens team doesnt seem to place too much importance on it).

I understand the logic of not being as Sydney centric as the mens NRL but at the end of the day for the WNRL to be successful, any team needs to be able to piggy back off the mens infrastructure.

They jumped the ahead with 10 teams for 2023 and Wests Tigers is one of them.Â
