I know I said earlier we would get smashed by souths but thinking about it.
Teams that play Melbourne seem to struggle a bit the next week.
Our forward pack is pretty strong don't think souths forwards are that flash, our forward may just bash them. We need Bateman and let him get stuck in to Walker and latrell. If that happens it will put Walker and latrell on the back foot.
If we play how we have been last tackle options run the ball hand it over right in the corner and get up and jam in for defence, it kind of takes away latrells game.
I am seriously thinking we might be in with a chance against souths.
@jedi-tiger problem with that Melbourne thinking is that normally teams have a tough game against them. Souths had complete control of that game.
I like the thinking and we have had some good games against Souths over the years even when we’ve been no hope. Looking at the wider picture Souths have had 3 big games in a row against top 4 teams and then come up against the team running last. We could get them a little flat
