Sad News - Former Kangaroo star and league personality Terry Hill has died of a heart attack.
Hill is believed to have suffered a massive heart attack in the Philippines. He was only 52.
Hill was in the Phillipines helping raise money for an orphanage.
He'd been there for a couple of weeks and rang a mate and said he wasn't feeling well. The mate told him to lie down… apparently he went to sleep and never woke up - it's a sad day for the game."
A colourful character, he played 246 first grade games for Souths, Easts, Wests, Manly and Wests Tigers between 1990 and 2003 and went on to star on Channel Nine's The Footy Show.

I fondly remember him playing at the 8th Wonder against Parra. He murdered his opposite number and anybody else who got in his way. He also Head Highed a Parra Player and before the ref could blow the whistle he fained being hit and collapsed on the ground. We got the penalty and Tezza jumped up ready to go. Great memories.......
