Peter V’Landys announced Melbourne as the location of this years Grand Final only to recant ‘Only Joking’ before announcing the Grand Final will remain in Sydney for this year 2022, after last minute negotiations. Subsequent years are still to be decided and stressed this agreement is for the 2022 Grand Final only. After this year it could go anywhere and he mention like the ‘Super Bowl’.
