Taking my son to his first rock concert on Friday. Grinspoon. He’s super excited. When I was showing clips on YouTube I stumbled on this one from Homebake 1998, I remember seeing them at this show.
on a side note Jebediah are also playing, after hearing the intro to one song he said “turn it off this is not my style” which made me laugh as I do not like them either.

I love Grinspoon, Phil was wild at some of their shoes back in the day. Lost count of how many times I saw them. Where are you seeing them?
How could you not like

@garry they are playing at Olympic Park at a BBQ event called meatstock. He has been begging to come to a gig for ages and this one has free kid with adult so was a good opportunity. I saw them a heap back in the day as well so will be a bit of fun. Have always been a wild show.
Leaving Home is the song I played him 🤣. The guys voice just kills me.
Heading out to Mary’s Underground on Sunday night for a bit of 90s punk. Should be fun in a small venue

Thinking about catching them on their latest tour.

@garry they were still really good. Would be worth going. I was looking at it as well but have a few other gigs around the same time, Lagwagon and Electric Callboy. Also hoping that Weezer do a solo show and not just the show with Kiss.

I'd probably go see Weezer as well, no chance of me going to see Kiss.
I was really disappointed as my daughter really wanted to go see Evanescense as her first gig but its on the same night as my brother's wedding.

I’m the same with Kiss. No chance.
Shame about the wedding Evanescence would be a good first gig

I saw them once back in the day, was pretty disappointed as it was pretty much their DVD word for word. Shihad was the support act that night though and they were amazing.

@garry Shihad are a fantastic live act. Saw them at Eastwood once and shared a drink with the boys. Probably around 2001
