@garry funny you say that as I was talking to a mate late last year and said Dropkick Murphys and Less Than Jake are the two bands I’d want to see tour in 2023

The Dropkicks are one of my favourite live bands, just such a fun gig. I usually get a nice front row spot in their pit and its just such a fun environment,

Free ticket: Bit of a weird one but I’ve got a ticket to the Bad Religion/Social Distortion show tonight at the Hordern but can’t make it due to family being sick. If anyone wants it let me know.

@garry yeah I was looking forward but these things happen. Unfortunately, kids got sick the last couple of nights and wife got sick this afternoon.

@the-last-ronin yeah they do mate, I have missed some gigs under similar circumstances over the years. Hopefully everyone starts to feel better soon.

Heading out to this tonight. Saw them in the 90s so it’s definitely a nostalgia gig. Supported by Jane’s Addiction and Amyl and the Sniffers so should be good. I’m a little disappointed that Redhook aren’t supporting this show as I missed them at Good Things. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3wk7C64kaP4

Very jealous. Siamese Dream was one of my favourite albums of the 90's. Awesome band.

I had tickets for the show out at Penrith but they cancelled it, I have had other issues with this promoter in the past so refused to purchase new tickets. I have seen the smashing pumpkins a number of times over the years and is always a really good show.

@garry yeah we had friends in the same bit. This tour has been a mess so many changes. Last time I saw them they were great and looking at the set lists it’s a good mix of old and newer stuff

Billy Corgan is an interesting character, when I last saw them he was complaining that people cheered louder for certain songs lol.

It is usually a pretty good show though and I'm disappointed to be missing Jane's Addiction

I'm just testing if my browser works with copying YouTube vids.

William Thomas Emmanuel (Tommy) is one of my favourite musicians and is an Aussie.

He needs no band, every bit of sound comes from his guitar. Hopefully the link works 🤞

Neil Young, a great musician, and this is one of his best imo. I never get sick of playing this.
