Hearing L Galvin (imo the most talented of the young group coming through) wants out and is refusing to go to training. Does anyone have any info on this?
If he’s refusing to go to training they should just continue to pay him and not let him play.

If someone is not fulfilling their Contract, why would you pay them?
@jedi-tiger I thought it was mason as well . But maybe it is Galvin ! FYI for those who don’t know his manager is Isaac Moses …. Sound familiar ?
He’s quickly removing all his players from the tigers . Plus I heard McDonnell and Galvin had a reliationship , that was key to him coming over from the eels a few years ago . Lol once again sound familiar ?
Isn't he playing with (and thus presumably going to school and training with) Westfields at the moment? They won their semi last Wednesday, final is this Wednesday.

Well we shouldn’t be letting him go
He is still at school , Westfields played last week and play the schoolboy final this week against Patrician Brothers Blacktown. I don't know what club requirements he would have especially as he also has HSC this year. That said I believe it is him referred to in the media recently , although it is manager driven.
Also, isn’t he a top 30 contracted player next year? Bizarre that you would leave a guaranteed NRL contract as a high school student
Mason has been playing Flegg so I doubt its him. I actually thought it might have been Miller as he hasn't played since mid season but he may be injured.
Also hearing the Matts coach is regrettably moving on. Another case of no support from the club?

Good content. About time.
Let’s just hope these guys reach their expected potential as it’s going to be a very young and inexperienced WestsTigers team.
Hi all. I went to the pathways match at Kirkham oval. It was interesting to see some of the young kids on the clubs books although there were 4 key players missing who will be starting pre-season training with the NRL squad.
We were outclassed from the outset by what looked to me to be a seasoned Warrington outfit. Their forwards were especially strong and everyone seemed to know their role. Their kicker only missed one attempt and nailed a few from out wide. The Tiger cubs were willing with plenty of talk and had some decent defence around the middle at times. Unfortunately there were too many mistakes and the cubs were never able to build pressure. Tigers brought 22 players to the match so there was a lot of changes each quarter and not having played for 6 weeks probably wasn’t good for cohesion.
Best players for Tigers were the big prop (Jekope Sovau?) who had a barge over for our first try, and he then made a great line break and ran well into the back field with plenty of speed for a big lad before drawing the fullback to put one of the halves over. He was pretty willing in defence and spent 10 mins in the bin so one to watch. Other notables were the winger Jonah Watson – good hit ups but he never got any attacking ball, the 2 halves Tannous and Keppie had some nice skills looked and a couple of the forwards Ewan Xuereb and Jeremiah Leatigaga played well. I missed the last try but it was very late in the match.

I watched some of it on Facebook, pretty good summary mate.
In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)
The other big news when coach Kristian Woolf named his side was the inclusion on the bench of 18-year-old Wests Tigers prodigy Latu Fainu.
