Just wanted to mention young Heamasi Makasini from the Wests Matts team, saw him play at Kirkham oval a few weeks back and noticed his contact in defence, thought it was impressive at the time. Was a little reluctant to mention him at the time as I think 16 year olds shouldn’t have any extra pressure through expectations as they already have. But I have noticed through Twitter posts he and Luke Laulilii getting a bit of a combination going. Heamasi has good size already but there’s little doubt he’ll grow even more over the next year or two. These kids and Large are definitely young players to watch over the next 2 years.

Wholeheartedly agree with this - would really like more coverage of the lower grades and pathways. Particularly given we're openly hanging out hat on them and the FG team is travelling so poorly.

Except its not true. I saw the team list announcement for KOE on WT socials.
There's been two tweets on lower grades over the last week. One was an RT of the NSW Cup score today, and there was a very brief pathways review last Tuesday.
There is a weststigerspathways Instagram account which has decent content, but it should be shared across all platforms. It has less than 1k followers - the main account has 144k (97k on twitter).

I don’t have twitter, instagram etc etc. How hard is it to post the info on the WestsTigers website then cut and paste to all of the other platforms ? We are just unprofessional with all that we do.
