I have heard we won Matts and Ball but lost Flegg 20-8, no other details as I didn't get out there in the end.

Round 1 teams are out for the Junior reps. Balmain Wests should be a cracker of a game. Wish it was being shown online.

Some names to keep an eye out for:

Cathane Hill: Fullback the club signed from North Queensland.

Bryce Wilson: Haven’t seem him play but heard he played really well in the trial game against the Raiders last week at fullback.

Solomone Saukuru: Younger brother of  Apisalome Saukuru who has a development deal with the first grade squad. I really rate this guy as a future first grader. Saukuru was amazing in Harold Matt’s last year and plays in the backrow or at centre. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him play flegg this year.

Herman Tofaeono: Prop we signed from Keebra park.

Justin Matamua: A little surprised to see Matamua named in SG ball again. Captained the side last year and hoping that he kicks onto to flegg and reserve grade this year. A ball playing lock who’s game would transition really well to first grade if he makes it to that level.

@garry would be a great chance to see both feeder teams in action. Lots of talk about how Sheens is working to reform the structure of the pathways and these teams will be the evidence as to whether it’s working. I’m really hoping that the Magpies in particular find success because it’s well overdue.

Am I correct that this has nothing to do with the tigers? Wests Group Macarthur is the Leumeah (and affiliated) Leagues club and they are the ones that appear to be putting up the money.

Wests Group Macarthur have always funded Macarthur (Campbelltown) Junior Rugby League.. This is just an announcement as to the size of the funding.

Wests Tigers if that's what your asking fund nothing anywhere..

Wests Ashfield fund Macarthur Wests Tigers junior reps..
