Ugly: though it didn’t have to be if they could make their tackles stick!

Scrambling, that’s what won the game. After a good first half, the Tigers nearly bottled it, only for that fine referee to correctly call a forward pass. Well done madam.

The Tigers still can’t string a good game together. The second half was poor, apart from that do or die defending. And even that was drying up in the last 10 minutes.

Big kudos to Galvin, Pole, Api, Stef, Papalii, Seyfarth, Laulili and Staines.  The first half was built on good defending, good ball control and taking out chances.

I thought Sam Fainu had a bludger, after a great season.

Five wins - progress! But there’s still lots to do. Fitness, footy smarts, sustained effort all seem to be lacking.

Word- Five. The number of wins in season we haven't seen for a while.

One word: relief

that entire 2nd half was just nerve racking. The final no try was right in front of me and I let everything out just standing on the fence as Souths celebrated before they realised it was a forward pass.

Klem still has a crack which to be honest is all we can ask of him.

Pretty impressive turn out on a chilly night for the team coming last.

I saw Latu in Cup tonight, had one great moment where he stepped & beat a tackle then threw a great around the corner pass that should’ve seen them score but was dropped with the line open. But other than that his opportunities were limited and did seem to tire as the game wore on. Today might’ve helped with game fitness so might be picked next week but could see why Benji went with Sezer this week.

I really want to see Latu get a go, but I think he needs a solid preseason, injury free then 3 -4 weeks in cup then start his career in earnest,
