Very pleased to see Faatape retain his spot in the 13. He's been in fine form lately.

Glad we rushed Olam back.

Had honestly forgotten about To'a.

case of sarcasm here I believe… but hope we don’t rush Star back though.
Seriously our 1-7 has been so disjointed the last 9 or 10 years. It’s a wonder we are where we are.
Maybe it’s a question for Yotti when we last fielded the same 1-7 from one round to the next.

I might be Robinson Crusoe, but would much rather Naden in there rather than Faataape. IMO Mason is a waste of a bench spot and would rather Matamua or TDS there.

The bench is very odd.

I’d take anyone over Faatape. He’s been shocking and incredibly still getting worse.

All your other points I agree with and tbh they all seem fairly obvious. It’s a bit of a worry Benji doesn’t seem to see it?

Faatape has been played out of position, thrown to the wolves. He's been decent when playing at centre. Would rather him than Naden or Feledy.

Mason is clearly on the bench for a backline/spine injury first and foremost, of which we've had plenty. I don't mind it.

Faatape Staines edge is the target again I assume for aerial raids.

faataape is a centre not a winger, don't mind him in the centres, as others have said better than naden or feledy

I don’t know,  the AD/Lobb edge is only new. So the sharks could take their pick imo.

Disappointing to see Matamua dropped out of the 17. The bench rotation has been atrocious. We are better with him at first receiver creating space.

My thoughts as well. Results in a very strange bench.

Possibly not fit? There were reports that Matamua was in a moon boot at the open day.
