FUN! .........I think the game against the knights was our lowpoint, the team looked like they didn't want to be there and had very low energy. Last week and this week they look like a completely different team. they came out with smiles on their faces and look upbeat, they had fun playing and I know I had fun watching. Last weeks game is the type of game we were never able to win, the stats were all against us yet we grinded it out, this weeks game is another one we very rarely win as Manly have everything to play for, a potential top 4 spot with a win and a potential failure to reach the finals with a loss....we were down 16 - 0 and ran over the top of them. I think the last 2 weeks are the turning point for these kids, bring on 2025!
One word - euphoria
Honestly can't remember leaving a game that happy, it's been so long since we've won a game that matters. And last night wasn't much in the grand scheme of things, but it just felt different.
Brooks and co coming back, Manly at full strength with DCE/Turbo in career best form - the stakes felt a little higher (to me, at least) than they actually were.
Being down 16-0 early felt as if it were going to be a training run for them. Even when we got back into it before half time, we had wasted some really good opportunities with a lack of patience and execution. Thankfully we took advantage of the opportunities second half, along with a couple of lucky bounces. Amazing to be on the other side of a sin-bin heavy game like for a change!
Still big concerns over our fitness. We were barely holding on at the end there, and that was after playing with an extra man for 30 mins. Needs real work over the summer and into next season.

Yeah the fitness was being tested towards the end despite, like you said, playing an extra man for 30mins. The only one that looked really sharp at the backend was mason. If it wasn’t for the latu/tds conundrum, mason would be a great 14. Bulk him up a little and he could pass as a Connor Watson.
It’s destiny Rachel. Believe!!!A few of us were talking about this last night. Lol. Have any of your predictions changed?I keep reminding those that we’re on the bus trip to Bathurst, 2026 GF, book it in. And I understand nobody will believe it but I don’t give a toss, it’s on baby. Tigers!!!That win has helped lock back in a few of.my kids as tigers supporters.
The eldest and I actually hugged after that last try.
Man, we needed that.
Weight of expectation for 2025 sky-rocketing
I feel dirty going for the Broncos, but geez I hope they put 50 on the Eels.
Definitely heading for the Spoonbowl now in the last round at Campbelltown. Go Wests Tigers.
