One word: Fainu. Thank you Manly. We are honoured to have them in the team.
My one word, beginning. This is the beginning.
My one words: MASON Fullback - He has started 2 games at the back and we have won both games. Leave him there. He had a pretty good game, needs to sort out his want to leave a high ball and letting it bounce, but he is nippy, gets involved in the play and in my mind is now a good luck charm. Fainu's all played great, Sam is the find of the year, Api is an inspiration and Galvin....he is just having fun. I watched him being interviewed on Ch 9, speaking to Joey & Cam Smith he was like a kid in lolly shop, so happy just to be there.
Woke up this morning and thought it was all a wonderful dream. Reading the comments and my hope continues growing for the future. Then, like all good wests tigers fans, I recognise the familiar hopeful feelings and the inevitable crushing blow that eventually follows and my mind turns to spoonbowl. That game has all the makings of Canberra in 2016 or sharks (Paul Gallen field goal lives rent free in my head). If we go out and get pumped in that game it’s going to be a very long off season. Massive game. At least we have the bye now to revel in hope for a little longer.
A win at Campbelltown would really be an exclamation point on the rebuild and signal something has changed. With these kids playing in front of their home fans I have some confidence. The eels have a lot to play for as well but they are also a team about the be torn apart in a rebuild, hopefully they don’t turn up
That win has helped lock back in a few of.my kids as tigers supporters.
The eldest and I actually hugged after that last try.
Man, we needed that.
Weight of expectation for 2025 sky-rocketing
My one word is Karma
We got some MASSIVE leg ups last night with three sin bins and a very lopsided penalty count, but we were overdue being on the right side of the ref, particularly at Leichhardt.
Still couldnt have got that win without massive will, spirit, resolve and effort which was so good to see and its mostly coming from the kids.
We earned the win no doubt but there was some pixie dust out there tonight.
one word magic
the sticky ball gifted us the faatape try whereby we saw Lachlan croker throw a dummy half pass 20 metres back in the air. Many other examples ie Saab
19yo
How good was that 2nd half... just remember we had 3x 19yo players in the spine with Api.
Beautiful!!!
My one word; ownership.
Every player made a pretty bad error at some stage but everyone took responsibility, owned it and made up for it somehow with an extra effort.
That's the absolute opposite to most of the season!
As happy as I was with the win last night, I dont want this backline for the spoonbowl. Staines defending at centre is a disaster.
I keep reminding those that we’re on the bus trip to Bathurst, 2026 GF, book it in. And I understand nobody will believe it but I don’t give a toss, it’s on baby. Tigers!!!That win has helped lock back in a few of.my kids as tigers supporters.
