Grinding.
stayed in it all the way even when things were against us and took the opportunity to win when it arrived.
well done team!
You have to really give to the team and coaching staff credit. The team made a lot of handling errors, giving the Eels plenty of possession, but to their credit they defended the those errors. Something we haven’t seen for a long time.
We only played with 15 players today and for 10mins only had 12 on the field
Both Bud Sullivan and AJ Kepoa sat on the bench for the full 80 - which is unheard of
That’s incredible given the amount of work we had to do. Benji didn’t flinch and trusted the men out there
One word???
Character
Not sure if I have ever seen a performance like that out of a Tigers team, even in our glory days to keep on turning up and turning up. 20-30 tackles at our line, 10-3 penalty count against us (some super dodgy), our playmaker in the bin for 10, coming from behind.
This team has character and it is so inspiring. you can see the belief.
No way would you risk putting them on with a game like that. Well done Benji. We only played with 15 players today and for 10mins only had 12 on the field

I agree with you but question the coach picking two players he couldnt trust.
You tell ‘em Klemmer
Hahaha, gotta love him when he is on your team.
There were a lot of stand out performers today and a real team effort, but I want to give shout outs to Staines who really got amongst this week and handled sivo superbly, and olam who took some incredible runs out of our own half which put us on the front foot.
also shout out to sezer. It’s refreshing to have a half who leads from the front in attack and defence, and when he makes a mistake doesn’t drop his head or go into a shell. I know he is on a one year contract and Galvin is going great guns, but I’d love to see him go one more year alongside luai. Galvin maybe at lock? He is a good defender…
We finally have some footy players amongst us… Galven/Bula could be huge for us.One word???

Depth is very thin… missed Twal today. No way would you risk putting them on with a game like that. Well done Benji. We only played with 15 players today and for 10mins only had 12 on the field

The way Galvin is playing at the moment he is signing the release papers for Sezer next year. Ive been keen on the idea of Galvin to lock to allow Latu a path to first grade in the future but IMO Galvin is simply playing too well to shift from 6. Strong believer of not weakening a spine position to strengthen another.

Agreed. Twal would have been perfect today in that middle period of the second half. Stef had a great game but had to play a lot of minutes and was less effective late. Fainu was valuable again. Our pack has held its own against two very good packs two weeks in a row now. Pole good. Bateman good, particularly defensively.
Api is incredible. I truly dont think we have ever had a more professional player than him or a better football brain. Olam is making a massive difference to our team, putting defences in two minds in their 20 and lots of players looking out the side of their eyes when running on their tight edge.
Stains defense was fantastic today.
