Very happy with that first half...
Halves doing their job, Sezer, very good kicking game. Bud looks good.
Starting props were great, running hard, but for me the critical thing was the timing between them and Api. Clearly a difference in the "style" of play this year. No more Api having to dart and jink and fart about waiting for a runner. There is a runner at the line as soon as he looks up and its giving Stef & Klem great go forward. My favourite part of the game so far.
Seyfarth looked good early. Busy, strong runs and like Stef & Klem, timing his runs better with Api.
Defence looks much more solid. Early signs they are getting up early and shifting slightly. Very happy with defence so far and scramble was good as well.
Happy that it hasnt turned to muck with the reserves coming on and replacing the firsts. Seems to be consistency throughout the squad.
Faataape might be a revelation.
Samuela Fainu looks the goods. Very busy in defence.
Papalii looked better in that 40 than any time last year.
Only negative Ive seen so far is Kepaoa for mine has proven himself to not have position in the first grade squad.
Looking very reserve grade now but most of these guys were playing SG Ball last year. Impressed with the effort.

First 20-30 was pretty solid. Since then been very poor. We look very tired compared to the Warriors, and we've had a man advantage for most of it.

Its literally kids out there, SG Ball and Flegg. They will be better for the run.
