not liking what Im seeing so far. Timing of our forwards runs is terrible again. No shape or plan in their 20. More things change the more they stay the same.

Agree, looking very similar to the 2023 side.

Not looking good at all. 

We have no physicality in D

I think we have our proof that Benji was coach last year.

Still can’t crack the red zone

we are playing rubbish, but that try was a knock on into Poles shoulder

we have no shape and no structure. Exactly the same as last year.

 

Except with worse defence...

The whole pre season to coach and this is presented… this is concerning. The forwards in particular  are  soft . 

I know it's only a trial but this is hugely concerning. Effort levels are terrible.

Im being careful not to hype, but already IMO Galvin has shown more that Sullivan, crisper passing, closer to the line and at least equal if not better defence.

Agree. Sullivan is going to be seeing a lot of the Magpies jersey I feel.
