It was awesome seing besieged halves Brooks and Wakeman embrace after the game. The pressure was fully on them tonight to deliver and so they did. Well done U two.
I love seeing this sort of thing.
There has been some warranted criticism towards Brooks (4k+ "Punt Brooks" posts on various forums) but there also has been some blatant abuse towards him.
Well he answered some critics tonight.
I'm also guilty of bagging him, mainly thru frustration. I just hope for his sake mainly, that he can finish his career off in style.
Just hoping his next best game isn’t rd5 ‘24…. He does have a habit though 😕This win has been coming for a few weeks. We are a better team than what results show.
Special mention to Brooks, he made some outstanding plays tonight, should build his confidence for next week and beyond.

I was about to post the same thing. The world looks different after a win. Got teary watching the highlights again this morning. So good

I'm heading to Penrith Plaza for strut this afternoon. This is a unique feeling I have this morning after a regular season win. It is very similar to the feeling after a successful Saturday night out on the town. There is a spring in my step and even caught myself whistling this morning.

@loganr21 yeah he’s always had wraps on him. Former Australian schoolboy and junior kiwi. He was shown up badly on the wing against sivo but his last two games have been very strong in the centres
This is a unique feeling I have this morning after a regular season win.
Last night reminded me of the last game Balmain played at Leichhardt in 99. Up against the ladder leaders in the cold, driving rain at a small ground. Very special feeling that had much more significance than just a regular season win.
Someone who really went under the radar t but I thought was great last night was Tupou.
