Mate I would be so happy if Brooks turned his form around and started playing well and earned a new contract. Been waiting a long time though and the trajectory seems to be one directional.
If we move away from the halves I think the forwards are doing their job. Bateman was a nice addition and I’ll looking forward to seeing our best pack together:

I was at the game today and, it was hot. And we beat ourselves again for the 3rd game in a row. We have talented players but make too many mistakes and don’t seem to have a proper plan. In the first half we were putting attacking kicks to Nofa but the dogs just picked up the ball and scored or made big metres. If the plan was to kick for Nofa then surely we should have numbers around that play to take advantage or to cover for mistakes but no, it was kick and hope.
I felt sorry for AD today, whatever he did today turned to mud, must have some kind of curse on him.
I thought Pole was disappointing in the first half, his errors killed a lot of momentum.
On a positive, Klem was good and so to Bateman considering it was his first game. Api made some big tackles.
I should add that I wasn’t surprised Nofa was hooked. He was bludging on the wing for the whole first half.
