Yep.
We could sign Moses, Munster and Teddy and still play like this.
There is something about this club. Once you sign that contract, some sort of virus or bacteria enters your brain and it renders you an athletic imbecile.
I have no doubt every other side in the comp flogs Newcastle today considering the adversity they faced.
Hasnt infected Klem or Naden.
Seeing Klem prowling the sideline at the end before he came on, that bloke cares.
“I don’t think this Tigers team is good enough to score if the game went to Thursday”
Apparently Andrew Moore said this on ABC radio during the commentary.
sadly you can’t even argue with it. It’s just a fact.
When they were setting up for the field goal at the end, I was think,,,,......"then what?". Cant imagine us winning in golden point.
I wasn’t looking forward to the potential of sitting through any more of that
some on here would complain if he kicked the winning field goal he didn't kick it far enough ...
@avocadoontoast only game 2 in a long season
Doggies at Belmore next week.
Storm at AAMI the week after
Broncs at Suncorp
Parra at Accor.
These 4 games lead into our first bye. 0-6 a very likely possibility.

Naden has had some shocking games for us. Klem will join the group soon. Takes a while to completely shrug off your ability. Papa looks well on his way.
@avocadoontoast not all on him though he had a halves partner in AD that didn't do much either.
The one clean break we made was all Brooks and naden should have scored from it
Who would have expected it for a halfback to make a break 🧐
It is clear that an off season, new coaches and new ‘style’ cannot change the behaviours and habits of players that have been entrenched for years.
The Maguire years were characterised by an approach of grinding out the game, completions and 5 x hit outs and kicks.
The players under this system who remain with the team, lack the general match awareness and confidence.
No following through on breaks, no moving up with the play, no feeling for the game at all…
Not sure what the solution, just got to stick to the plan and hope it clicks in a few weeks.
The uncomfortable truth is that if you swapped the two teams half backs today then the result is flipped.
And that’s 100% on Sheens.
Completely disagree. Hastings did nothing other than shovel on. On a couple of occassions he actual crashed their attack as he passed to a player behind another. On one occassion Gagai had to kick because Hastings passed it to him, behind two players with no support. Hastings had 1 run and was crunched. Both our halves were better than Hastings today and that is not praise.

Hasto lost his halves partner for the whole game in the very first instances, he then lost the guy who he has the biggest professional relationship with early as well, followed by his tall timber winger and target for attacking goal line kicks for 10 minutes, an excellent hole running backrower for the majority of the second half, and a tough prop for 15 minutes to close the game out.
Still managed the team to victory. Cool head.

No, he got the result. End of story.
He didnt panic, kicked for twice the distance Doueihi did and directed a side limping badly to victory.
It is what we miss, but alas...he is too slow apparently.
How about we agree both Brooks and Hastings are bottom tier 7s.
