I can handle Storm being a better team than us, I can cop losing, I understand we are missing our entire spine. I can NOT cop being out competed for the ball.
This is pathetic stuff. Getting lapped at home by the Storm at less than half strength.
Yes we are down on troops as well, but the effort levels are embarrassing.
The storm are the antithesis of us as a club. Absolutely nail the fundamentals to the nth degree. Everything we do is so loose and ad hoc. Another spoon on the way and they absolutely deserve it.
Bula classy, tupou putrid, toa not a 6, wakeham good but playing as the only having made it difficult, Pole not a starting prop yet, TDS surprisingly good, Blore best game of the year, papalii still not being used properly, Bateman not as impactful at 13.
Bula great, TDS absolutely a first grader, Bateman a legend. The rest forgettable.

aj let in four tries by rushing in, Nadan no effort at all, toa is not a half, tim must be aware he stuffed it by getting rid of hastings, there is absolutely no halves what so ever... thank god for BULA
We are short on troops and playing an understrength powerhouse, lets establish that as a baseline. Very disappointing level of effort and commitment. So many times Storm simply outcompeted us for the ball. Bateman was outstanding all night, Bula did well, Papali'i possibly his biggest effort in our colours. Big effort by Noffa as well. Blore a much improved effort.
Cant believe people accepting Wakehams performance, he was rubbish. TDS didnt have a good night but I can see a first grader in there (not yet).
Im going to say something counter intuitive. Tim Sheens is a GREAT coach. This team is under the pump, under staffed, no halves, out best prop out, backs against the wall. The style of attack we used for the first 20 in second half with changing angles, different runners, isolating NAS etc, was GREAT coaching and it worked for that time but we ran out of puff and ability but that period had Sheens all over it.

Lack of halves is just criminal club management. Wakeham wasn’t even in the squad until a few weeks before the season. These backup halves we see in other teams that are so much better than what we see in our first grade team is just depressing. It goes straight to absolute lack of forward planning from this club over the past 5 years
Okay now is the time Marshall must put back on the boots. At least until Brooks comes back. I can see no other option to be fair.
Watch out for the bergs
The sooner Sheens is gone the better , at this stage of the season and still playing this terrible brand of footy is appalling. The coaching team is a failure and Benji wants to have a long hard think about his future !
@tigertownsfs Sheens owns this he has been at the club long enough to have at least a couple of decent back up halves . His coaching has been abysmal 3 wins all season needs to be shown the door !!!!
