Our forwards were dominated from the beginning, Blore, Twal, Klemmer , Pole were all outmuscled.

Wakeham’s errors were only half the story. He was passing too early or running players out of space every time. His kicking was atrocious as well.
Simpkin had some errors as well, but at least you could see he was trying and his kick into the in goal on first attempt just made wakeham look even more average.
As for tommy, sheesh. Tonight’s performance is probably a blessing in disguise because there is no way he will be picked next week and I doubt we see him in the team again this year.
Naden for talau, I guess Laurie plays 6 and wakeham into 7, Da Silva onto the bench and simpkins to 9. Didn’t rate Blore at all and didn’t like Bateman playing in the middle. Probably just put pole back at 13 and would bring another prop onto the bench (not seyfarth) and let Bateman play on the edge.
Had to watch the 2nd half on day due to the kids acting like clowns. Can’t believe how poor we were.
Wakeham played like we expected at the start of the year but just kept getting worse. Talau had a terrible game, I was willing to give him a pass after last week but he’s a reserve grade level player. Blore I had high hopes for this kid but he hasn’t shown much with the chances he’s been given, I’d still like to see more of him but can’t see him growing into the player expected.
Going to be a tough period with Api and Brooks out. I imagine we are going to see a spine of Bula, Wakeham, Smith and Simpkin with Da Silva off the bench.
