Wakeham was very good tonight. The pass he threw for our second try was top shelf.

He was definitely tearing up after the try and at full time. Has always played with passion. If he goes, then it is with genuine best wishes to him and his family.
Joffa always plays hard, he will be a big loss. I still can’t work out why we let a bloke who works his backside off every game leave.

@eastiemagpie he’s just in the way unfortunately . Father Time remains undefeated. There’s young , hungry , dare I say more skilled kids being held back .
It does suck though that you can’t stick with guys like him . He deserves to be in a great footy team .
@avocadoontoast I didn’t realise that Newcastle had such huge wraps on him . I did some digging tonight after Ennius said that , and sure enough , he was rated a better prospect than Best coming through . He just didn’t kick on . If tonight’s anything to go by , then you can see what the fuss was about .
I didn’t know enough about Newcastle to realise what we had . I thought career first drop back , like a momorovski type . Boy was I wrong .
