Sheens hammered the bunker in the presser , and I say good ! Both their tries were 12 point turn around . And both were absolutely disgusting ref decisions. If we didn’t absolutely smack them we’d all be blowing up delux.
For too long we have copped that garbage . With sheens , and I’d say Benji would be more of the same , we have said this is bullshit . And it is . The offa try , was a try no doubt. The step bunker cal is just rewarding garbage football. The only reason the ball hit the deck was a garbage dummy half pass .it had nothing to do with Twal. For too long refs decide momentum in a football match , and it really shouldn’t be the case . They’re there to make sure it’s fair . That’s literally the only reason they exist . They should have next to no influence on outcomes . But they absolutely do . This is also how you win footy games in 2023. You have to have the ref thinking if I screw this team , and I about to be dropped . And with sheens here , and Benji , we can assert some kind of influence . this is the stuff having an old bloke helps with .
And I know some people will say enjoy the win , but this is the only time , when you can say “see wth? And not come across as a sore loser

Haha, I didn’t pick up on that one, but I did have a chuckle when he called Bateman an “unusual character”. A lot of ppl have criticised the loss of Hastings and they might have a case, but if part of it was that we had to lose him to get Bateman and klemmer then I’m at peace with it. Both seem to be great for culture and leadership, and will be worth their weight in gold as some of these young fellas come through.
