Castleford Tigers post a $900k aus dollar profit for this year. Amazing effort given:
- during a pandemic which didn't have crowds or reduced crowds for many games
- castleford is a town of only 44,000 people
- the salary cap is only $4m aus dollars
Still blows my mind that only a couple if NRL clubs make a profit, when they have all the salary cap paid for plus some and are able to attract big sponsors and crowds.
