Pathetic tour.
Likely they have been reading their own press all summer over here against opposition who barely put up a fight.
3rd test is looming. Wonder what low they can reach this time round?
signs were there in that last match that they could be competitive just lacked so finish in getting rid of the tail. And that 2nd inning batting was odd
Crazy first session by the Australians in the 3rd test. India 7 down at lunch.
although we have to bat on this yet

So far so good, although we have a nasty track record of throwing away our tail and giving up the advantage this tour. I’m feeling a little more confident having Green replacing renshaw in the middle order so hopefully we add at least another 50 and hold a three digit lead by lunch.
Absolutely needed warm up matches. Two warm ups and some good prep and this effectively could have been the first test performance. But it’s not about a fair contest any more - just filling space on pay tv
76 could be a tricky chase given the form on this tour but surely they can get the job done.
really need to stop the collapses
Australia performed better than India in every aspect of that test. Fourth test will be interesting.
Australia confirmed into the WTC whereas if India lose Sri Lanka can jump them into the final
Who cares?
No respect for a team that only starts having a go once all the pressure is off. Series was lost and lost badly.

they were definitely having a go in the first 2 tests just didn’t understand the conditions and how to perform in those conditions.
As TigerSteve mentioned a couple of tour games would have been helpful.

India has not played particularly well, Australia just handed them the first two tests with some horrendous batting.
For India the massive elephant in their room is former captain Virat Kohli.
His last test century was November 2019. Since he has averaged 25.70 in 41 Test innings.
His test average has dropped from 54.97 to 48.12 in that time.

Virat is definitely a concern for them a bit like Warner for the Australians. They just can’t seem to let go and admit they are out of form.
Exactly man, India did nothing special. It was the big headed arrogance that our blokes played with that lost this series.
