It seems the players didn't like him but its hard to believe that a coach that has won a T20 world cup and Ashes series in the last few months has been sacked.

He always came across as a bristly character. In a results driven business he did well.

And Dizzy is an ACTUAL coach, not some new age life coach spouting law of attraction nonsense all day.
Langer is/was a poor coach at National level. At lower levels his "self help" mantras can be more effective but at national level, more is required.
Great decision to punt him, and kudo's to CA for having the stones to do it in the face of JL's mates media heat.

Why should they? When has it ever gone well for players to openly bag their coach? I think it shows character to keep this in house.

Aus won the Ashes against one of the weakest pommy teams in history, with one of the greatest bowling attacks, in history.

Meh.....I hope they do. The current Aus team made Langer look good. He would be exposed for what he is in England.
