@garry

Lot of inexperienced quickies with not much match fitness behind them , if Hazelwood isn't right to go for Boxing Day the rest won't do them any harm

Great to see Starc and Lyon stand up as the experienced bowlers in the team. Both bowled beautifully.
Also great to see Green have some success. Got to stick by this kid. I really don’t understand the call to reinstate Marsh. Since when do 20/20 runs mean you’re ready to score in a test match environment? I’m my opinion, Matsh goes too hard at the ball to ever be a consistent contributor in test cricket. He will nick the ball constantly

The only person I ever hear call for M Marsh is Warne and when the Test selectors start listening to him you know our Test side is totally and royally screwed . We made the high % call last night by batting again With no weather issues in Adelaide the smart decision is to bat them out of the game and let the pitch deteriorate and smart bowling destroy the Rest of the World 11

Yeah agree re batting. Ideally declare tonight with 1.5 hrs left and try to get them 3 for by stumps.

Re Warne. He is a good chance of undoing his amazing legacy if he continues to be so personally critical of players. Nothing wrong with an opinion but Warne uses his position to relentlessly bully those he doesn’t like. Just because Starc is not a beer drinking loud mouth yobbo like Warne, he can’t relate to him therefore he smashes him. He’s done the same to smith and Labuschagne. Warne is one of the best analysts there is and his fight is awesome but he really does act like a dick sometimes

I always liked Warne as a cricket mind and thought this translated well into his commentary. This summer he has really let his personal bias and agendas infiltrate his commentary and I have found him unlistenable.

The declaration becomes interesting today , the ideal time time wise is probably 10-15 overs different from the ideal time new ball bowling conditions wise

I probably hold off declaring to get at them with the new ball under lights if the decision was mine.

Maybe if @tigersteve bags Lyon again it will improve his chances of a strong showing lol

Crazy tactics!! Aussies should be having a bash - only need 100 more.

Poms are like the Irish factory workers , had a break and needed to be retrained completely lost the plot after the drinks break Why would you then bowl short and spread the field ??
