100%... I go to Harris Park (1 train station before Parramatta) for Indian. HP is basically a little India. So many great Indian and Nepalese restaurants, cafes, food stalls, food vans and everything else. My favourite is Tikka Corner for Tandoor cooked lamb and chicken kebabs and amazing curries and Tandoor bread.
But Parramatta has a huge restaurant strip too, and Rose and Crown do a decent pub feed.
