Yes it ended in a send off but the amount of time the refs allowed the raiders to hold down in the ruck was a disgrace. The fact that it was close at the end belies the fact that the garbage refereeing cost us the game.
worst penalty I have ever seen
is this in reference to the penalty that put them ahead? If so it was the correct call.
My one word is: refereeing.
I try not to be a blame the ref type of guy but that was so incredibly poor. We should have at least retained the captain's challenge and from there it was just so poor from all the refs.
Edited a fair while later - I believe that last penalty from Ice was in fact a penalty. I'm talking about all the other calls beforehand

Great comeback. Sutton reffed us out of the game for 70 mins. We were the better team for most of the game. They got away with so much in the ruck. They should have players binned all game.
Canberra basically were offside all game and holding down all game in the ruck . And it’s not until 10 to go that he calls the penalty .
We cannot win a game of football with Gerard Sutton as the ref .
All game we make a break or half break they lie all over us …. No penalty . Then the next tackle they’re 3 metres offside …. No penalty .
To be fair I don’t know why Ice attacked the football there . He had to know that any contact with the kicker was a penalty . It was a pretty low IQ play if I’m honest .
I get going for the charge down , but a score line reset just wasn’t worth the 2 points .
That last play , I saw what brooks and api saw it was definitely on there , but it just closed real quick .
Someone should have screamed at the middles to die with the ball once the gap closed .
