So important that those players who pushed for Galvin to be dropped now step up and roll the eels on Monday.

Mitchell Moses making his return is a worry, we don't need to be screwed over by another Moses this week.

One Jungle! Team first! Go Tigers!!

Yes, very important to make a statement. I also feel that, maybe for the first time, this is Luai's team.

Just saw Skelton wandering around Burwood Westfields (no limp) was really tempted to ask him how things are going down re Galvin.

Wow, that is a huge get, well done guys! Latu particularly would be interesting to hear from. Not just the Galvin stuff, but how he has managed the spotlight since the manly signing, being the youngest brother in a talented family, what has he learned from his brothers incarceration, how has he felt with the glut of halves in the squad (bud, Galvin, ad, luai, that young kid in lower grades), etc. Would love to get down there one of these days (or wait for the Ambush to travel to Brisbane for magic round 😉 )

OK so we didn't get to do Yioti's quiz this week on the pod so let me share the questions here and you guys can have a go. I'll come back with the answers in a day or so;

1. Who wore the number 6 jersey in our 2004 World Sevens triumph against the Eels at the old SFS?
A) Daniel Fitzhenry
B) Benji Marshall
C) Ben Reynolds
D) Scott Sattler

2. True or False:
Wests Tigers have played Parramatta twice in every NRL season since we entered the NRL

3. Nearest to the Pin
What was the crowd number when the Easter Monday game first became a thing in 2014?
Hint: Match was played at Homebush (ANZ Stadium)

4. Name the 7 Parramatta Eels players who joined us (Wests Tigers) before the 2005 season?
(2000-2004)

5. Who am I?

  • Born in Sydney in 1983
  • Debuted with a Western Sydney team the year before they won their second grand final
  • Wasn’t part of their premiership winning squad
  • Joined Wests Tigers in the season after we were defending premiers
  • Finished with the joint venture in a season we finished 9th
  • Scored one try in 34 games which was in my final appearance
  • Played one game as a starting #8 prop and ruptured my Achilles tendon
  • Continued playing NRL until I moved to Super League
  • Finished playing rugby league in 2015
  • My surname is shared with a Wests Tigers 2005 grand final player

It’s a tough one to pick a score today I think. But as long as our defence holds up I believe we can win 24-12…. 6-6 maybe halftime.
