we just need to find our style of play. Benji is still trying to find that style after two years.

One word “coaching”.
I’m up there with the biggest of Benji fans but today we showed that we aren’t a well coached side. We were bloody horrible at times. It looked like a side who had never played together before. we need to be way better then that.
And then there’s Luai. Sorry but he’s not captain material. Captains don’t give those penalties away for the same thing two weeks running when there’s no need. And the captains challenge 🤦♂️ Five players around him telling him to challenge and crickets.
It’s new for me but I’ve never been gutted after a win.

My one word: Ugly. That would have to be one of the ugliest wins I have ever attended. It’s normally a game we would lose. It was like watching under sevens at times. I was half expecting the parents to walk onto the field and tell their kid where to stand, which way to run and who to pass it to. But it was a win with much needed two points. Upside Taylan May. An outstanding debut. And just sign Douhie for goodness sake and sort out the position later. That’s the second win in a month that I’m sure we would have lost if he wasn’t playing.
Richo meter: Poor. So much work still to be done.
