Not just team, club.

I understand that we are all disappointed after years without success. i understand that everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Every single member of this team trains unbelievably hard under intense physical and mental stress 5 days a week.

Every single member of this team has the discipline and toughness to get their body, strength and fitness to an elite level.

Every single member of this team has made significant sacrifice to achieve this.

Every single member of this team turns up each week and get completely bashed by similarly or superior physical specimens.

Every single member of this team pushes through intense pain on at least a weekly if not daily basis to do their part for the team, the club and their team mates.

Every single member of this team is expected to undergo intense medical intervention to continue to do their job on regular basis.

Every single member of this forum would fail at the first of these hurdles. I think if most members of this forum had to get a painkilling injection into a tendon at halftime they would scream and then cry like a baby and never come back let alone do it again next week.

In my opinion, to call any member or this team, or for that matter any first grade NRL player soft is completely disrespectful and literally delusional. Tell me that Starford Toa continuing to tackle with his arm dangling by his side, held together with leuko is soft.

Perspective people.

It's context, mate. I'm comparing them to other top grade NRL teams not your average person. When people talk about footy IQ they mean their intelligence around rugby league. They're not comparing them to Drs.

When someone says "I could do better" or "I would do that if they paid me like them" then my answer is "well go on then". We all have or had the opportunity to play the game. But I'm not saying that, obviously they would annihilate me.

Context is a cop out. Its not context at all. Its a competitive game of sport. its a physical battle between two teams and one team will get on top and thats exactly what happened on Sunday. Their forwards bashed us, monstered us, and ran straight through the middle repeatedly. Our boys kept turning up and kept trying, it wasnt a blow out. They are not soft, they were just bettered on the day by a team that is bigger, stronger and more willing than us.

So you add context then say that context is a cop out...rightio.

Our teams footy strength was soft when in comparison to the Warriors footy strength
