Maybe in the second half a tactic of 5 up and kick could work Oh that was the first half .. first player picked for next week Tiny May straight on the wing !
Prepare yourself folks, we’re nearing the 39th minute…
Meanwhile, how good is Erin Clark?! I haven’t seen many nz teams, but he has been very impressive.
Haha, I just realised I’ve been watching the game 10mins on delay, hence my ridiculous delayed commentary. I’ll shut up now until I catch up to real time…
One word - clunky
Our attack looked clunky every time we had decent field position.
One word Douehii. He must go to 13 next week. We looked best when he went into the middle. taylan May to left centre.
As much as I would like to support Marshall it’s getting harder .. a game that was winnable turns into another poorly coached rabble . There needs to be an overhaul of the forward pack they are weak as !
First time poster long time listener.
My one word API.
we have gone all in on API and there is zero game plan around him. Use him to attack the ruck with our forwards.
Also AD needs to stay around the ruck to push both Laui and Latu wider and Little May needs to be out there for some strike.
We honestly looked better with Hope on today than Koriosau. Infact both our panther rejects 🤪 were poor. Doueihi made Luai look like a reserve grader.
There forwards won them that game. Just ran and hit harder.
Noticed May back into the tackle today often. Find that worrying. Never go full Woods.
So disappointed because after AD scored I felt we were going to win
One word Bewildered how can a group of individuals that spend a week training together have no idea on game day .. I suppose poor coaching reflects that ! Signing API for a further two seasons is a very big punt …
One word - outmuscled. Plenty in the Tigers’ favour today, with two veterans back in the spine and the Warriors missing their half and fullback. Bright start, but the Warriors belted us all day. Two individual efforts from Doueihi mask how insipid the Tigers were all day. Api and Luai were flat as day-old lemonade. Need more from Sukkar in attack. The back three tried hard (though Skelton’s defence is an issue) and May was busy. Not much else to like.
My one word for that game is arduous. It was a struggle to watch, from losing the forward battle, to poor first contact, to having a bunker decision absolutely screwed. To almost getting back into the game all to have the warriors score late twice.
ARDUOUS‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
My word is Flat.
Our team seemed flat and didn't want to aim up. my worry is they weren't flat and just weren't up for the grind
My one word is deflated. Any time there is a chink of light or hope, we immediately extinguish it the next week
One word: I.Q.....
We lack so badly in this area of the game
