Couple of errors and a penalty was all Melbourne needed. Bloody disappointed, but some hope for the season ahead.

The heart was hoping for a win but the brain expected a loss. I'm a little disappointed the score blew out a bit, it probably wasn't a true reflection of how well we played.
The Hughes try under the posts was about the only time we were a bit loose in the middle. The Coates try both Nofo and Ken did great work to clean up Paps in the middle but it meant our edges were short.
