Wests Tigers Podcast 0303

Eddie, Steve and Garry with the mid-week pod!

The Wests Tigers are back in action this Saturday with the second of our two pre-season games.

After accounting for the Warriors over in New Zealand last Sunday, Wests Tigers and St.George Illawarra take their Pre-Season Challenge game to the beautiful NSW country town Mudgee.

On this mid-week edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, Eddie Otto is joined by Garry Watson and Steve Stretton.

The guys wrap up that Warriors game, with Steve and Eddie bringing us their thoughts on the performance.

Then the attention shifts to one of our favourite podcast features, a round of Buy, Sell, or Hold.

There’s also a preview of the Dragons match, including a look at the naming of new recruit Justin Olam in our side.

Eddie, Steve, and Garry discuss what we want to see in this game and which players need to stand out to be a chance of selection in Round Two.

Playing in Round Two (against the Raiders) means we will have to sit and watch every other team run around in Round One of the 2024 NRL season, including the Las Vegas doubleheader.

Eddie asks if this might be a mental hurdle for our side.

There’s a look at the naming of Api Korisau as the club’s skipper for 2024.

And there’s some coverage of the comments made in a podcast interview with the former Wests Tigers CEO, Justin Pascoe.

It’s our first official mid-week edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, we hope you enjoy it.
