Wests Tigers Radio launched

Wests Tigers Podcast has today launched a new online streaming radio station devoted to the Wests Tigers NRL club.

Known as Wests Tigers Radio, the offering has been built by fans (the team at Wests Tigers Podcast) and is for fellow fans of the Wests Tigers.

The new Wests Tigers radio station appears to be a first for a professional rugby league club in Australia.

Co-founder of Wests Tigers Podcast and Wests Tigers Radio, Joel Helmes, says the online radio station will be all Wests Tigers, all the time.

“When we first started the Wests Tigers Podcast we always had plans to grow and offer different content and interactive platforms and services to our fellow Wests Tigers fans.

“After establishing the podcast over the past three years we recently launched our own Wests Tigers Fan Forum where there’s been some really great debate about the NRL’s best club.”

“Now we have launched our own Wests Tigers radio station we hope to really grow a strong bond with other fans who have black, gold, and white running through their veins.”

The programming on Wests Tigers Radio will include live broadcasts, specifically pre and post-game.

“It has always been a desire of ours to have a way of connecting directly with other fans directly after matches, either win, loss or draw, and we reckon this is going to be something passionate Wests Tigers Fans are going to enjoy.

“We also have a number of other Wests Tigers content ideas that we intend to bring to the new service during the 2022 season.”

And the new radio station is also open to programming ideas and submissions from Wests Tigers fans.

“Is there something we’re missing? Something you’d love to hear or have featured on Wests Tigers? We’d love to hear what you come up with.”
