Funny thing is kiwis do go on about the underarm.

But the ironical thing is greg did cheat that day in my opinion. But it was when he refused to go after martin snedden caught him. Ians little brother is a cheat in that game...just not about what is discussed.

30 years later i can laugh about the underarm. But it will be another 30 before i even think about getting over that catch.

Then i think about andrew jones been given out by Greg dyer catch at the same ground at the boxing day test in 88. And i realise i'm getting so angry i might not sleep tonight

 

Woke up this morning and remembered the danny morrison appeal against mike whitney in the same test as the dyer catch. Last over of the game hitting half way up middle stump.

Only good thing is at least that umpire was locked up years later. Not for that decision i might add

Yeah your mob copped some shockers ...the Snedden one was a shocker ....Thought Coney was going to snot the umpire at one stage lol

What is actually missing from the Chappelli story was they gave him lip by claiming because he ran off as soon as he hit it to beat the hordes of kids , they tried convincing him he had been actually  caught on the boundary
