The first time Luai ran the ball was in the 78th minute. That's not acceptable.

We need to win 5 out of the next 8 games to be a chance heading into the final round. Penrith still likely to rest players for that game.

Yeah, he was going through the motions I reckon.

Finals are gone imo.

I am not so sure Api used Luai that much as the ball seemed to go to AD more often than not. Thought this was quite strange given Luai's effectiveness last week and Adam still protecting a shoulder injury that could easily end his season in a single tackle. ????

Wests Tigers Squander Opportunity in Newcastle

The Wests Tigers have fumbled and bumbled their way to a six-point loss against the Knights in Newcastle.

With the home side seemingly begging to be beaten, Wests Tigers failed to take any second-half opportunities and came away with a win that probably puts a full stop on our finals hopes for yet another season. On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, Joel and Nick do a post-mortem on a bleak afternoon for the Tigers in the 'Steel City'. One player comes in for a roasting, with their card now marked and ready for the shredder. Coach Benji Marshall also gets a bit of a whack for some of his selections, bench use and post-match comments. As always, each of the 'One Word' submissions from the Wests Tigers Podcast Forum also gets a mention. While the potential signing of ex-Tiger, Junior Tupou, also gets a run. Josh Schuster's invitation to our club is also under the microscope with hopes that the former Manly player can find his feet with us. It really sucks being a Wests Tigers fan at times, but we hope you enjoy this edition of the podcast, and we welcome your comments and opinions on the current situation.

NBWT saying Junior Tupou coming back, effective immediately.

Hope this falls over. He's proven at 3 clubs he's not up to it. We'd be better off throwing in Haze Dunster if required and trying to find another middle forward.

I think we just have to accept that WT are a very,very ordinary NRL side. The longer the season goes on, the more apparent it becomes. Thankfully Parra and the Dragons are worse. That's my warped sense of reality.

I also have to say there were some good performances there today , it’s just the ineptness of the big $$ players that let the side down .. IMO AD gives the side a positive vibe but the halves are a problem you just can’t have that much ball in the red zone and come up with nothing.
