After seventeen attempts, Wests Tigers have finally won three straight NRL games again.

This is a feat we haven't achieved for about eight years, and we did it in style, beating the high-flying Newcastle 42-22. No one is more pleased about the three-in-a-row achievement than our own Jordan Prime. Jordan has been carrying that monkey on his back for a few years now, and he pops up on this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast as a very relieved man! Phew! That was a game that took a toll on Wests Tigers players and fans alike! In a Golden Point thriller, Wests Tigers beat the Eels to cement a place in the NRL Top Eight.

The Wests Tigers had it all against them, but after a performance to be proud of, they scored a memorable win over New Zealand on Friday night. Leading 16-10 at the break, the Tigers ended up scoring a convincing 32-14 victory over the Warriors in front of nearly 25,000 mostly Kiwi fans.

On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, we take a look at how the Wests Tigers have changed over the past twelve months.

From a side that was clunky and inconsistent, to a team today that seems so much more confident, consistent, and connected. And this is reflected in the results: since July last year, the Wests Tigers have been tracking at a 50% win rate (something we could only dream of not that long ago).

It’s the 450th edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast! What a rollercoaster it has been…well, rollercoasters normally have some high points, and over the past eight years, the highs have been pretty few and far between for Wests Tigers fans.

But dare we dream and say that the best is yet to come? We might get a better idea of where the Wests Tigers are on the road to bigger and better tomorrow night when the Tigers meet the high-flying Warriors in New Zealand. Pretty much everything is against us here. They have the home ground advantage, they’re in winning form, we’re missing our best player, oh, and they’ve also beaten us nine games straight! Be that as it may, Wests Tigers have a chance to show what the club and this playing group are made of tomorrow evening. On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, we look at what needs to be done to get on top of our more-fancied rivals.
